To the employee

Ask your employer for an Employer-Subsidized Commuter Ticket!

When your employer has decided to offer the Employer-Subsidized Commuter Ticket for you, go to Public Transport Service Point (Frenckellinaukio 2 B) to load your ticket. When there, remember to tell that

• you wish to load the Employer-Subsidized Commuter Ticket onto your card
• the name of the company
• your name.

You can load the ticket either on an existing card or purchase a new one (with a deposit). In other words, the Employer-Subsidized Commuter Ticket will be loaded onto the employee’s own card, which belongs to the employee, not the employer.

Your employer offers you a certain selection of tickets. Remember that the ticket is meant for travelling from home to work, and thus e.g. a person who both lives and works at Tampere cannot buy a Tampere regional ticket as an Employer-Subsidized Commuter Ticket.

An Employer-Subsidized Commuter Ticket is always personal. The employee must annually report the tax authorities. Any information concerning the employee’s trips will not be handed over to employers.
