Travelling
Transferring from one bus to another
All paid bus trips include a right to transfer to another bus within one hour of the payment. In other words, you can travel with one payment in all joint local tarnsport busses for an hour. When transferring, always show your Single Ticket to the driver or place your Travel Card onto the card reader.
When using the Single Ticket, the right to transfer is included only to tickets containing the Joint Local Transport logo.
When groups travel by using a single Travel Card, only nine people or less may make a free bus transfer. Every group of nine people must thus have their own Travel Card. In case the first trip has been paid before midnight, a late-night extra fee must be paid with transfers made after midnight.
Paying a late-night extra fee
A late-night extra fee must be paid in busses operating between 00:00am – 04:40am. The fee must be paid in addition to the normal bus trip fare. In case a first trip has been paid before midnight, a late-night extra fee must be paid with transfers made after midnight.
You can pay the fee either in cash or with a Stored Value Ticket on your Travel Card, in which case the Stored Value Ticket will be automatically charged during late-night hours. People with personnel, Travel or VPL Tickets do not have to pay any extra late-night fee.
