Giving up a Travel Card

Personal Tampere Travel Card

- - treen_matkakortti.jpgA card owner has the right to terminate his or her travel card and customer relation. Customer can do this whenever at the customer service. In this case, the card owner must present an identification card. The card owner has the right to redeem any remaining tickets on the travel card. Prosessing fare (5 €) is always collected with redemption.

  • If the amount of compensation is smaller than that of prosessing fare, no tickets are compensated.
  • Card fares will not be refunded.
  • Employer-subsidized commuter tickets cannot be redeemed because of shared and supported ticket fare between employer and employee.
  • When returning somebody else’s card, you must have your own ID as well as a proxy from the card owner.

If a cardholder gives away oa holder-specific travel card, the remaining tickets cannot be redeemed.

Old Travel card with a deposit

- - vanha_matkakortti.jpgWhen giving up your Travel Card, bring you card to customer service in good shape. There you can receive 6,70 € deposit. A card receipt or ID has to be presented. When returning somebody else’s card, you must have your own ID as well as a proxy from the cardholder.

Any Value Tickets as well as full 30-day periods of Season, Commuter or Regional Tickets can be compensated. A handling fee of 5 € will be charged when reimbursing the ticket product value.
