Late-night extra fare
Late-night extra fare is 2,50 € for all age groups in addition to normal bus fares in busses operating between 00:00am – 04:40am. In case a first trip has been paid before midnight, a late-night extra fee must be paid with transfers made after midnight.
You can pay the fee either in cash or with a Stored Value Ticket on your Travel Card, in which case the Stored Value Ticket will be automatically charged during late-night hours. People with Personnel, Tourist or VPL Tickets do not have to pay any extra late-night fee.
Card fee
When purchasing the card at the Public Transport Service Point, you must pay a card fee (5 €).
Handling fee
A handling fee of 5 € will be charged when reimbursing the ticket product value. Any Value Tickets as well as full 30-day periods of Season, Commuter or Regional Tickets can be compensated. No handling fee must be paid when reimbursing a deposit of the old Tampere Travel Card.
A lost Travel Card and the amount of personal excess
Concerning the Old Tampere Travel Card
If you lose your Travel Card or it is stolen, please enquire your card at the Public Transport Service Point. To close your card and prevent it from being used, you must bring, fax or scan and email your card receipt with your phone number. Seven days after a card has been closed, any Value Tickets as well as full 30-day periods of Season, Commuter or Regional Tickets can be compensated. The customer’s personal excess is 30 €, and no handling fee must be paid.
